\nPeaceVoice held a one-day conference at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon on August 1, 2009<\/span>. The conference featured presentations throughout the day from peace academics from across the US. The event wrapped up with the keynote address from Barbara Wien, peace scholar and PeaceVoice Advisor. The conference closed with a rich performance by the Sartori Men’s Chorus, a local group that sings about peace.<\/p>\n
